Kazakhstan: Almaty

Almaty is a very beautiful city to visit and the close by mountains make for an incredible setting. Kazakhstan vs England brought an influx of English fans so beer consumption for the weekend was 500,000 times the average. Weather was superb and people are incredibly welcoming.

Armenia: Yerevan

Arriving in Yerevan is like going back in time 20 years. There are so many Lada's on the roads which are full of potholes and most buildings look like they are on the verge of falling down. The local food is interesting and almost nobody speaks English which makes Armenia a very different experience!

Georgia: Tbilisi

Tbilisi is one of the classiest cities you could hope to visit! The old town boasts a fine selection of cafes and the nightlife and local food is superb.....

Kuwait

Kuwait boasts one of the best water parks from the 1980's, good fun but slightly outdated and quite dodgy!! Nightlife is non existent as Kuwait is a dry state, entertainment seems to revolve around the Dubai style shopping malls and shisha cafes.

New Zealand

Lake Taupo is a beautiful area and the hot springs are fantastic! Weather was superb and people very friendly.....

The only way to describe Wellington is carnage!! The main strip is just full of bars and unfortunately kebab houses.
The boat trip from Wellington to Picton is a fantastic ride, just a little bit rough...........

Kaikoura is wild and beautiful, some of the best scenery in New Zealand is to be seen on the North West Coast.

Auckland is a pretty cool city and a good place to hit the town.

Brunei Darussalam

Brunei Darussalum is one of the smallest countries in the world. The water village is fascinating and the weather extremely hot.
People are dead friendly and the food is superb!

Sri Lanka

War torn Sri Lanka might not seem like the ideal place to go on a weekend break but the natural beauty of this small island below India is amazing and the curries very hot!
